We’ve compiled a list of some of the best Android phones expected to be released later this year, including the Google Pixel 3, Huawei P20, Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, and the Nokia 9.
The Top 5 Best Android Phones To Buy In 2018
Google Pixel 3 – Google announced its Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL, last year. Rumors suggest the tech company may launch not only two, but three new models for the Pixel 3.
Codenames leaked online suggest Google’s newest Pixel phones are called Albacore, Blueline, and Crosshatch. We don’t have much information in terms of specs but should learn more details soon.
Huawei P20 – The Huawei P20 is expected to make its debut later this year at Mobile World Congress. Rumors suggest that Huawei P20 phone will come with a 6.0-inch display with full HD+ resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The P20 phone is also expected to feature a triple lens, rear camera (40 MP), along with a 24 MP camera for taking selfies, and 5x hybrid zoom. This Android phone should also see 6 to 8 GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, and Android Oreo.
Samsung’s Galaxy S9/Galaxy S9 Plus
Samsung is getting ready to introduce two new flagship phones, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, next month. The new phones will get new processors, and most likely Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845.
Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus phones will keep its original 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch curved Infinity displays. Rumors also suggest the phones will also offer 64 GB of internal storage, a dual-camera, and will ship Android Oreo 8.0.
What’s the biggest change in Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus phones? Samsung is moving the fingerprint sensor underneath the camera, instead of next to the lens like on the Galaxy Note 8.
Nokia 9 – The Nokia 9 phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 853 chip, and will come with 128 GB of internal storage, and a 3,250 mAh battery. The phone also has dual rear cameras (12 MP and 13 MP) in addition to a 5-MP front-facing camera, which is perfect for taking selfies. Rumors suggest the Nokia 9 phone will run Android 8.0 Oreo.
